Hurricane Ike is continuing its crawl across the Gulf of Mexico.

American officials declared to Casey Montoya that the Hurricane Ike is continuing to represent a threat across the Gulf of Mexico.The storm is actually located at about 220 mile of Key Wst,Florida and about 400 mile of the Mississippi River,moving to the northwest with the speed of eight miles an hour.

The hurricane still represent a major threat,it's winds measuring near 90 miles an hour,but it could temperate before hitting Texas or Mexico.

Casey Montoya discovered that Ike killed near 80 people in the Caribbean Sea.In Cuba,2.6 million people we're evacuated from the areas where Ike hit the coast.Altough there weren't so much human casualties,Ike caused $2 billion damages in the areas affected.

In Texas 7,500 members of the National Guard are prepared to help in case that coastal evacuations are needed.
